Shopping Advice: The Lunch Bag

I really admire when designers get ideas from the most common things to create those pieces of fashion that drive us crazy and make us crave for it until you just cave and buy it. This is what's happening right now with the lunch bag. It first appeared in that deli just around the corner...just kidding, it gained recognition through the Jil Sander F/W 2012 Menswear collection and it pretty much looks like the classic brown paper bag and it's made out of actual paper but coated and with stitches so it won't rip.
Jil Sander is no stranger to this kind of bags, let me remind you of the colored supermarket plastic bag presented on the S/S 2011 RTW collection.

The lunch bag showed up again at the Céline S/S 2013 RTW runway, and there is no brand better than Céline to make something, specially bags, very very popular, but this time the bag was three times more awesome. This bag is the lunch bag version of the much coveted Trio Bag.

Now let's talk affordable. Take a look at Marie Turnor lunch bags at ShopBop ($180-$220); they have the mint one that doesn't scream paper bag at all, it looks very sophisticated or the tin foil bag a bit more edgy and actually my favorite. But if you are looking for something more pocket friendly you should try the Zara version($36) and it comes in black and camel.
